On Sunday, May 31st, in the afternoon at about 5:30 pm EDT, our hosting provider (The Planet) experienced a major outage at one of its data centers in Houston, TX. This outage lasted approximately 36 hours. A fire in a transformer incapacitated the entire data center including ALL backup generators. Since their servers hosted our web site as well as our email, we were unable to contact anyone with updates. Their servers also hosted our backend servlets, so allowing ChemDoodle to check for updates will result in "No Internet Connection" errors. Just click Ingore to close the error window.

I apologize to those who wished to try or use ChemDoodle and were inconvenienced. All server issues have been appropriately dealt with and this situation will never occur again.
