Updater doesn't work?

Updater doesn't work?

Hey, I purchased a copy of ChemDoodle for Windows, but when I try to update ChemDoodle, all I see is a grey spinning indicator in the updater. It's stuck at the first step... What is going on?

I apologize about this. Versions 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 of ChemDoodle on Windows (not mac or linux) contain an updater that has a bug. We have fixed this problem already and the fixed updater is provided with ChemDoodle v1.3.0.

To fix your copy, just go into the ChemDoodle/resources folder and replace the file named iChemLabsUpdater.jar with the fixed one you can download at this url: http://www.ichemlabs.com/iChemLabs/downloads/iChemLabsUpdater.jar

After you replace that file, reopen ChemDoodle and try to update again, everything should work.
