Mr. Theisen founded iChemLabs in 2007, releasing the popular chemical structure environment, ChemDoodle. Mr. Theisen graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University in New Brunswick in 2008, receiving a BA in Chemistry. He then went on to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Theisen left UC:Berkeley in December, 2009 with a MSc in Chemistry in order to pursue his dream of running iChemLabs.

Willow Theisen joined iChemLabs in 2010 while pursuing her BS in Environmental Science from Rutgers University, which was completed in 2011. She continued at iChemLabs and Rutgers, obtaining a MS in Environmental Science in 2012, focusing on remediation and microbial genetics. Though she previously worked at several companies, including Exxon Mobil, she decided that iChemLabs was the best fit due to their mission and culture.
